Responsibilities:

• Specialized clinical resources to community Health Care Coordinators (nurses) and assists Area Managers in the delivery of resident care
• Quality monitoring of services, training, regulatory compliance and implementation of resident care policies, forms and systems
• Coaching and mentoring the Health Care Coordinators and provides strategies for nurse retention
• Develops and maintains relationships with resident care vendors and professional organizations as part of the nurse recruitment strategy and networking

 

• A minimum of five (5) years experience as a Professional Nurse and maintains a current state license as a Registered Nurse (RN) per state regulations
• At least two (2) years nursing management experience in assisted living, home health, skilled nursing or long term care environments
• Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Competent of current and evolving state and federal laws effective provision of care to residents
• Ability to effectively partner with team leadership and dynamics
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
• Demonstrates effective training skills, effective written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) with the ability to learn new applications
• Able to travel within a geographic area or on assignments with Sunrise
• Demonstration of competence in assessment skills and know how to recognize and implement the standards that protect brand integrity through all services
• Competent in organizational, time management skills
• Champions the quality of life for all seniors and champions the belief in the sacred value of human life
