We are seeking a talented Regional Healthcare Leader - Architecture to lead a talented team of Architects, Engineers and Interior Designers across multiple offices located in multiple states. Position could be based in Orlando, Tampa or Jacksonville.
Job Summary:
The Regional Healthcare Leader - Architecture is responsible for Healthcare market focus, growth, and performance in the Southeast Region. Market support to all additional markets is essential in this region or others, when necessary. The The Regional Healthcare Leader - Architecture may serve as a project/client officer/PM on larger projects and client accounts; utilization goals are 50%. The The Regional Healthcare Leader - Architecture reports to the SVP, Healthcare Buildings Market Leader and is responsible for helping to grow the market segment including implementing and participating in the development of policies, procedures, and strategies. The The Regional Healthcare Leader - Architecture tends to make decisions that are more tactical and operational in nature and requires the ability to influence others to adopt new practices and approaches. This position has full managerial authority.
Essential Functions:
- Supports market leadership in achieving top-line growth goals, including identification of depressed revenue compared to peer firms within existing markets; development and execution of business plans to elevate our top-line growth and align with top-tier peer firm levels; identification of potential growth opportunities; elimination/mitigation of anti-sponsors and repairing damaged relationships. Balances investments from a sales perspective across the footprint of the healthcare market segment to maximize returns.
- Manages critical pursuits within the 18-month horizon, mentors practice builders in forming client relationships and expanding the points of contacts between client and us, and aligns RS&H thought leaders with clients.
- Collaborates with healthcare market leadership to build and lead a high-performing team; key areas of focus include growth, talent acquisition, identifying and developing practice builders, performance management, engagement, and culture. Sets expectations across the market segment to ensure a culture of excellence and caring, industry leadership, innovative thinking, and integrity. Consults with leadership in the development of training, mentoring, and learning to foster growth opportunities for all associates. Sets clear expectations around the value and importance of meaningful feedback, talent management, and recognition for the division, and leads by example.
- Partners with healthcare market leadership in the management of key client relationships for loyalty, long-term engagement, and lifetime retention, including identification and cultivation of new client relationship opportunities; associate development to support client relationship building; and growth of existing and new services.
- Partners with key stakeholders across the firm to understand client satisfaction feedback and execute action plans where needed, to exceed client expectations.
- Participates with operations and market leaders to aid in achieving financial metrics, including execution of the annual business plan and management to annual budgets; and implementation of strategic operating plans.
- Serves as a project director/officer in delivering annual revenue and profitability goals with regular variance analysis and required adjustments.
- Consults with business development leaders to ensure appropriate technical expertise and thought leaders are available to support proposal activities.
- Collaborates effectively with leaders, teams, and associates across the firm to help drive success. Creates an environment that promotes teamwork.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Requires a Bachelor’s of Arhitecture degree from an accredited program or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: Typically requires a minimum of 12 years’ relevant experience.
License/Certification: Typically requires professional licensure/registration in discipline.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
- Must have a proven track record of leadership, with a strong understanding of effective management practices.
- Must possess demonstrated project and budget management skills, and strong business acumen with a broad understanding of fundamental business principles.
- Must also possess exceptional organizational, critical thinking, prioritization, process improvement, and oral and written communications skills.
- Must have the ability to effectively engage and empower teams, and interact with and build strong relationships with clients, customers, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
- Must have knowledge of the firm goals and strategies, professional demeanor, and ethical standards to lead by example and provide clear guidance and expectations for the team.
- Must have a solid knowledge of the healthcare market sector.
- Must be capable of marketing services to existing and new clients.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree from an accredited institution in a relavant area of focus
Physical Demands:
- Able to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time. Occasionally required to sit and stoop.
- Able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job.
- Ability to travel overnight, as needed.
