A Regional Housing Operations Manager contributes by supporting and executing the foundation’s strategies related to all local and regional aspects of day-to-day property management in Southern California, including creating systems for consistent tenant communication, written property report updates, carrying out evictions as necessary, move-ins; etc.
A Regional Housing Operations Manager enhances the reputation of AHF by working closely and under the direct supervision of the Director of Housing Operations. This role supervises work of assigned Property Managers in Southern California in all aspects related to leasing, maintenance, and management of support staff at assigned locations. Uses knowledge of property management and affordable housing in providing information on operating costs as well as the annual budget for the properties. Responsible to help co-develop and implement programs designed to increase occupancy. Manages all assigned property managers and overall staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.

The Regional Housing Operations Manager will work as a part of a close-knit team to ensure that the physical appearance and legal requirements of building codes, regulations, and requirements of the properties meet local, regional and Foundation’s required standards. This role will also provide support in identifying potential viable properties for acquisition by prospecting, researching, and communicating opportunities to Healthy Housing Foundation’s senior management.
