Position Overview: We are currently seeking a Regional Lead Psychologist to join our team and provide psychotherapy services at our partner facilities. Responsibilities:
Clinical Duties (on-site):
- Assess and diagnose patients, formulating evidence-based treatment plans
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of services provided by psychotherapists
- Be available for crisis consultation
- Collaborate with other specialists, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care
- Exhibit expertise in the clinical assessment and treatment of patients
- Perform guardianship and capacity evaluations when appropriate
- Integrate with multidisciplinary team to deliver care that meets the unique needs of patients in facilities, especially those with co-morbidities and frailty
- Provide patient, family, and staff education when necessary
- Provide backup and interim coverage for facilities in the region when needed
Training & Development (primarily remote):
- Assist with onboarding new psychotherapists and prescribers, ensuring they're well-equipped with the necessary tools and resources
- Assist administrative team in coordinating shadowing and other clinical and facility orientations for new hires
- Offer coaching and consultations for psychotherapists and prescribers facing clinical challenges
- Act as a mentor and a resource for psychotherapists
- Offer clinical direction, ensuring efficient workflow and staffing coverage
- Assist in researching regulations, including billing guidelines and compliance with payor requirements (e.g., CMS)
- Assist in compliance reviews of clinical documentation

Requirements
- Licensure as a Psychologist in the state of practice
- Willingness to obtain licensure with PGS support in other states if needed (strongly encouraged)
- Two (2) years of related clinical experience (strongly encouraged)
- Long-term care/nursing home experience (strongly encouraged)
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a clinical setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work remotely and effectively manage a team from a distance as well as in-person
