General Job Description:
The Tool Crib Regional Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations and management of multiple tool crib locations, within a designated region. This role ensures efficient inventory management, tool distribution, and maintenance processes are in place. The Tool Crib Regional Manager will lead and support a team of tool crib staff, ensuring that best practices are followed, and that safety, quality, and productivity goals are achieved. Relationships with distributors and manufacturers. Collaborating with Purchasing team

Various Warehouse and Tool Crib StaffEssential Duties & Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
- Oversee daily operations of tool crib locations within the region.
- Ensure tool cribs are stocked, organized, and maintained according to company standards
- Implement and monitor inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage and obsolescence
- Coordinate tool maintenance and calibration schedules
Team Leadership
- Supervise and support various tool crib and warehouse staff
- Provide training and development for team members
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
Inventory and Procurement
- Develop and manage inventory and procurement strategies to ensure optimal stock levels
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate pricing and delivery schedules collaborating with Purchasing dept to ensure optimal pricing and delivery schedules
- Monitor and analyze inventory usage trends and adjust procurement plans accordingly
- Collaborate with Purchasing and Field Leadership to determine standard offerings
- Responsible for training of inventory and procurement processes
Safety and Compliance
- Ensure all tool crib locations adhere to safety regulations and company policies
- Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective and preventative actions as needed
- Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices
- Utilize technology and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Work with the Logistics Director to develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success
Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare regular reports on tool crib performance, inventory levels, and operational metrics
- Analyze data to identify trends and make informed decisions
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management
Position Requirements (Skills, Work Experience, Education, etc.):
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in tool crib management or a similar role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Knowledge of inventory management and methodology
- Understanding of safety and compliance regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a regional management role.
- Certifications in supply chain management or inventory control
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies

Hours:
This is an exempt position. Workdays are scheduled from Monday through Friday. Typically, work hours begin and end between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm as scheduled with the position's supervisor.
Travel:
0 to 25% to various Warehouse locations
Competitive Wages:
$89,500 to $122,750 Annual Salary. Applicants please note that actual compensation is determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location, among others. The offered wage or salary is only one aspect of an employee's total compensation.
