The Regional Marketing Manager will be responsible for the regional implementation of Koppert's global strategy for our subsidiaries in the USA, Canada, and Mexico. This position will be responsible for aligning regional goals with the company's global objectives. The job is performed in close collaboration with the global marketing organization, including a functional reporting line to the Global Director of Marketing and a set of shared KPIs. Three other Regional Marketing Managers will be part of your international management team. This role is pivotal to enhancing Koppert's market presence, strengthening our brand's influence, improving customer engagement, and supporting the overall growth and success of Koppert in the North American agricultural market.
Location: USA, Canada, or Mexico with a preference to proximity of one our main locations in Howell, MI; Oxnard, CA; Portland, OR; Leamington, ON; Niagara, ON; or Queretaro, MX. Fully remote employees are also encouraged to apply and will be considered based on experience.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Recognize and implement market opportunities and developments with the Koppert USA, Canada, and Mexico marketing and sales teams.
- Develop and execute regional marketing strategies based on local market research, customer analysis, crop and product strategies. Align strategies with both regional goals and global objectives to convert opportunities into sales growth.
- Define and manage the yearly marketing budget for the region, with a focus on building economies of scale and scope.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including global and local teams, partners, and industry contacts. Represent the company's marketing efforts in the region at external events and in key industry networks.
- Ensure the product portfolio aligns with local market needs, customer preferences, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with global teams to adapt product features and strategies to the region.
- Drive brand awareness, interest, and preference in target markets through effective launches and campaigns. Nurture digital marketing expertise to improve online visibility and drive lead generation.
- Utilize and track KPIs such as margin increase > revenue increase, customer lifetime value, revenue by crop, margin by crop, and diversification.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily workflow of several direct reports in a cross-functional manner. Direct reports will include leads in marketing, regulatory affairs, and product management. Mentor and coach team members and uphold their respective functional lines and KPIs towards the global organization.
- Responsible for leading and developing initiatives in a cross-functional team dynamic, spanning across regions and organizational levels.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and create plans to enhance team skills and performance.
Education and Experience
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant industry experience with proven success creating and implementing marketing strategies.
- Experience in agriculture, horticulture, or farming industries is required.
- Demonstrated ability to balance strategic planning with operational execution.
Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bilingual in English and at least one other language.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to get favorable results.
- Ability to work independently and effectively with minimal supervision while meeting performance metrics.
- Advanced experience in developing marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Advanced experience implementing and measuring successful marketing strategies.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and software.
Working Conditions

Annual salary range $72,000 - $134,000 dependent on experience and candidate location.
