Regional Payroll Specialist Job Summary:
Our successful Regional Payroll Specialist will ensure accurate processing and recording of various Hertrich Dealership payrolls, provide timely and accurate financial information, and manage all cycles relating to payroll and benefits. Our Regional Payroll Specialist is able to use 3rd party payroll software with accuracy and efficiency. They will need to be good with numbers and can be trusted with sensitive information. They have great communication skills to interact with colleagues and executives. The goal is to ensure personnel receives the correct compensation in a timely manner.
Regional Payroll Specialist Duties/Responsibilities:
- Process Payroll
- Work with Office Managers to maintain schedule and pay Employee Benefits
- Post 401k
- Maintain a 401K Schedule
- Maintain Employee Database
- Other duties as required by Management
Regional Payroll Specialist Required Skills/Abilities:
- Detail oriented
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a professional manner
- Better than average ability in filing, tracking, and following up on paperwork
- Proficient in Dealership accounting preferred
- Ability to communicate with multiple managers and executives
- Have basic knowledge of HR and tax related regulations
Education and Experience:
- Minimum high school diploma required
- 2 years or more of related payroll experience preferred
- 2 years general office/clerical experience or automobile dealership experience helpful
