Regional Sales Manager - Northern West Virginia/Pennsylvania
Due to continued growth, CommuniCare Health Services is currently recruiting for a Regional Sales Manager to cover our facilities in Northern West Virginia and Pennsylvania.
PURPOSE/BELIEF STATEMENT
The Regional Sales Manager's mission is to develop sales strategies to promote census growth in overall business. The Regional Sales Manager hires, directs, coaches, and develops teams that include Hospital and Clinical Liaisons, Admission Directors, and Director of Public Relations to exceed budgeted census goals and allow for continual business development. The Regional Sales Manager serves as the market expert who understands trends, analytics, and the current needs of the market they serve. They work closely with interdisciplinary teams at the regional and facility level to remove barriers, find solutions, and drive results.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS/KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- 3-5 years of healthcare related management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong Communication skills
- Ability to understand hospital DRG and network/ACO development.
- Sales experience.
- Ability to build success through teamwork.
- Team building and excellent leadership skills.
- Multi-site management experience is required
- Must have the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Must be able to deal tactfully with team members, other staff, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public.
- Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with team members in all positions.
- Must be able to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures, etc. that are necessary for business development and census growth
- Must be willing to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Census Development - Responsible to work collaboratively with Regional Director of Operations (RDO) to exceed budgeted census and achieve optimal quality mix. Must work to establish CommuniCare as provider of choice in the markets they represent.
- Marketing - Development and execution of marketing plans and programs, both short and long term, to support sales and revenue objectives of organization.
- Supervision - Ensures effective management of marketing and sales results, and takes corrective action to guarantee that achievement. Oversees coaching and development of the sales staff with direct supervision of hospital and clinical liaisons
- Sales - Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key community partners. Prospecting to gain and secure access to higher level hospital/ACO/Physician/C Suite relationships
- Administrative - Assists with Development and manages the marketing operating budget in cooperation with operations. Identify, communicate, advocate, and when appropriate, intervene with obstacles to optimum census outside of admissions, sales, and marketing (i.e. operational, clerical, and administrative issues). Guides preparation of marketing activity reports and presents to executive management.
