Regional Sales Representative
SmartCOP - Remote
Are you ready to make an impact in the dynamic world of public safety software? SmartCOP, Inc., a leading player in system development, implementation, and support services, is seeking a results-driven Regional Sales Representative to join our Sales & Marketing team. As a pivotal member, you will take ownership of the your market, selling our comprehensive suite of products, including Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), Records Management System (RMS), Mobile Computing with Field Based Reporting, and Jail Management System (JMS).
Your Impact:
As a Regional Sales Representative, you will have complete ownership of your sales territory, driving new business and expanding market share. Your responsibilities include:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute sales strategies for the your market.
- Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to consistently meet targets.
- CRM Utilization: Record client information and progress in our sales CRM for efficient tracking.
- Communication and Negotiation: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to build profitable business relationships and close deals.
- Business Development: Actively pursue and close new business opportunities.

- Excellent Communication Skills: Superior oral, written, and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
- Willingness to Travel: Ability to travel 50-70% of the work week on average.
- Technical Proficiency: Fluency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Preferred: Understanding of government agency multi-process sales cycles; public safety industry knowledge; Bachelor’s degree.
