Role Description
The Regional Tax & Treasury Manager will manage and coordinate all tax-related and treasury-related activities across the region of North America & Latin America. This role involves ensuring compliance with tax regulations, developing tax strategies, managing relationships with tax partners and providing guidance to the finance and accounting teams. In addition, on the treasury side assess, monitor, plan and manage the efficient utilisation of cash and financial services in a manner consistent with the objectives of the Company.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax law and regulations, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex tax concepts to non-finance professionals, experience in cash management and funding.

Role Description
The Regional Tax & Treasury Manager will manage and coordinate all tax-related and treasury-related activities across the region of North America & Latin America. This role involves ensuring compliance with tax regulations, developing tax strategies, managing relationships with tax partners and providing guidance to the finance and accounting teams. In addition, on the treasury side assess, monitor, plan and manage the efficient utilisation of cash and financial services in a manner consistent with the objectives of the Company.

Principle Accountabilities:
Tax Compliance and Reporting:
- Oversee the preparation and filing of all federal, state, and local tax returns.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations in all jurisdictions within the region.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance.
- Work closely with the Group tax director, CFO and VP of Finance to develop and implement tax strategies that optimise the company's tax position.
- Identify and mitigate tax risks by conducting thorough analyses of business operations.
- Guide on the tax implications of various business decisions.
- Manage tax audits and examinations conducted by tax authorities.
- Provide support during audits.
- Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes with tax authorities.
- Work closely with the finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate tax reporting and accounting.
- Provide training and support to staff on tax-related matters.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure tax considerations are integrated into business planning and operations.
- Maintain relationships with external tax advisors and consultants.
- Liaise with government tax authorities and represent the company in tax-related matters
STCF:
- Review Regional monthly and 3-monthly cash flow with Senior Treasury Analyst.
- Execute daily financing decisions to support the Senior Treasury Analyst.
- Monitor bank service fees and address quality issues.
- Conduct benchmark studies of banks and their services to evaluate whether they fit Airswift’s requirements.
- Determine the Company’s goals and risk tolerance.
- Reduce fraud risk by implementing controls.
- Understand and manage appropriate accounting procedures and processes.
- Provide support during various audits (statutory and bank).
- Work closely with central and regional treasury teams.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate cash forecasting.
- Maintain relationships with financial institutes for regional banking arrangements to minimise expenditure and optimise the use of regional borrowing facilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or advanced degree in Taxation.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management, preferably within a multinational company.
- Strong knowledge of regional and local tax laws and regulations.
- Experience in managing tax audits and negotiations with tax authorities.
- Experience managing regional cash and funding.
- Experience in dealing with multi-site or international businesses.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
