We’re seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Training Manager to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring our HVAC, plumbing, and electrical teams receive top-notch training to enhance their technical skills, improve customer service delivery, and increase overall sales success. The ideal candidate will be a people-focused leader with the ability to communicate effectively and inspire our team members to reach new levels of expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop & Deliver Training Programs: Design and implement comprehensive training programs for our HVAC, plumbing, and electrical service teams, focusing on technical skills, customer interaction, and sales techniques.
- Collaborate with Sales & Service Teams: Work closely with regional sales and service managers to assess training needs and create targeted plans that drive team performance.
- Conduct Field Training: Participate in on-site training and shadowing sessions to evaluate team members’ skills and provide hands-on coaching and support.
- Monitor & Evaluate Performance: Track training effectiveness through performance metrics and regularly assess team members to ensure continuous improvement.
- Support New Employee Onboarding: Lead the onboarding training process for new hires, ensuring they understand our service standards, sales expectations, and customer service protocols.
- Enhance Communication Skills: Implement programs that refine team members’ communication skills to boost customer satisfaction and sales conversion rates.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical services, with at least 3 years in a training or supervisory role.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems and industry standards.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to motivate and engage teams.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to address issues proactively and support service teams in finding effective solutions.
- Adaptable & Flexible: Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and regional demands.
- Travel Requirement: Willingness to travel within the region as needed to support training efforts. 75% of your month will be on the road.
