About the Job
We are seeking a dynamic Regional Vice President to lead our Central Region operations, spanning 15 states and generating over $200M annually. This pivotal role, ideally based in Dallas or Houston, requires a strategic and hands-on leader to drive growth, operational efficiency, and regional integration.
Overview
- Region Coverage: Manage operations in Central U.S.
- Revenue Responsibility: Oversee $200M+ in annual revenue streams from System Installations, Service & Parts, and Chemicals.
- Team Leadership: Supervise a team of 250 employees.
Primary Responsibilities
- Growth Strategy: Formulate and execute plans to expand market share and achieve revenue goals.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure high standards in installations and services, coordinating efforts with the sales team to meet customer demands.
- Leadership Development: Mentor and guide regional leaders in Sales, Service, and Installation, ensuring the team is well-equipped and motivated.
- Customer Satisfaction: Act as the main point of contact for resolving customer issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
- Financial Management: Enhance revenue and profitability through efficient cost management and process improvements.
- Collaboration: Partner with the Executive Leadership Team to implement strategic initiatives, including acquisitions and new market opportunities.
Key Duties
- Market Expansion: Drive growth in Aftermarket sales to achieve a balanced revenue mix and surpass industry benchmarks.
- Talent Management: Recruit, train, and develop staff to maintain a high-performance team culture.
- Efficiency Improvement: Lead initiatives for system conversions, integrations, and operational enhancements.
- Budget Oversight: Prepare and review financial reports, budgets, and sales forecasts to ensure alignment with goals.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to OSHA, EPA, DOT, and local regulatory standards.
- Cultural Integration: Foster a unified company culture across different regional teams.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Experience: 10-15+ years in a senior management role, with at least 7 years of team leadership experience.
- Industry Expertise: Extensive experience in equipment manufacturing with a strong focus on Aftermarket sales.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to develop, organize, and inspire high-performing teams.
- Business Acumen: Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Project Management: Demonstrated success in managing projects and driving business results.
Education
- Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field is required.
Travel Requirements
- Frequent Travel: Regular travel within the region to engage with teams and customers, with increased travel expected during the initial phase.
