What is an RBT?
An RBT works one-on-one with a clientusing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques to decreasemaladaptive behaviors by teaching functional replacement skills. The goal oftherapy is to teach skills that promote client independence and socialintegration. This is done through a behavioral assessment and treatment plandesigned by the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst. This plan isimplemented by the RBT through daily therapy sessions, although the hours andservice locations vary by client.
Specific duties include:
- Implementing interventions specified in the client's treatment plan
- Collecting data in real time throughout the session
- Daily progress notes
- Active communication with team members, including caregivers and supervising BCBA
- Assist analyst in developing/gathering materials to be used with clients
- Being present for supervision with BCBA (minimum of 5% of total work hours as required by the BACB)
- Modeling interventions for caregivers

- Driver's License
- High school diploma/equivalent; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Active Registered Behavior Technician certification through the BACB
- Level II background check (AHCA)
- Must be fluent in English, bilingual preferred
- Medicaid provider ID
- Reliable transportation
·Adequate physical mobility (e.g. able to get upand down from the floor without hesitation, able to run a short distance in thecase of client elopement/danger, etc.)

*This is a part-time position for 20-25 hours per week. Services will be provided at a daycare in Plantation, FL.
Starting pay range is $25-29/hourdepending on experience. Pay schedules are as follows:
·Level 1- $25/hour for billable services, $15/hourfor non-billable services
oEntry Level- High school diploma and 2years of experience
·Level 2- $27/hour for billable services, $15/hourfor non-billable services
oAssociate’s Degree in Psychology or relatedfield and/or 2 years of experience
·Level 3- $29/hour for billable services, $15/hourfor non-billable services
oBachelor’s Degree in Psychology or related fieldand 2 years of experience
