Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an on-site/in-person Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team at E-Therapy. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in implementing applied behavior analysis (ABA) interventions and supporting students with behavioral challenges in school settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to address students' behavioral challenges and promote skill development.
- Collect and record data on students' behavior and progress towards behavioral goals and objectives using established data collection methods and tools.
- Provide direct behavioral support and coaching to students in various settings, including classrooms, therapy rooms, and other school environments.
- Utilize positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques to teach and reinforce appropriate behaviors and social skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and other school staff to create and maintain a supportive and structured learning environment for students with behavioral needs.
- Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation strategies as needed to address challenging behaviors and ensure the safety of students and staff.
- Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and other members of the educational team to provide updates on students' progress, behavior, and intervention strategies.
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge in behavior analysis and intervention techniques.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred.
- Completion of Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training program and certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities in a school or clinical setting (preferred).
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles, behavior intervention techniques, and positive behavior support strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, school staff, and behavior analysts.
- Proficiency in data collection and documentation.

Physical Requirements (Working in a School Setting):
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and move around in various areas of the school facility. The employee must be able to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents both verbally and in writing.
