Registered Dental Assistant (RDA/OA) for Orthodontics - Choice Healthcare Services

Registered Dental Assistant or OA Dental Assistant for Orthodontics 

Travel position for Inland Empire. Mileage compensation also offered. GREAT pay with benefits 

Summary:The Registered Dental Assistant supports orthodontic care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act. 

Pay Range: $24.00   -$29.00  (based on experience)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

• Assists the doctor in ortho procedures 

• Operated x-ray equipment and takes x-rays and ortho  records
• Prophy teeth 
• Instructs patients on ortho treatment and oral hygiene 
• Chart and treatment plan with orthodontist  
• Sterilizes instruments 

• Setup and prepares rooms for ortho treatment 
• Take IO's 
• Charting 

Education and/or Experience:  

• Certification from a dental college OR 3+ months related experience and/or training OR Equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred 
• BI-lingual in Spanish, preferred

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:  

• California Registered Dental Assistant or Orthodontic Assistant License 
• X-Ray Certification 

• Coronal Polish Certification required  
• Current BLS certification
• Must have oprtho experience
