UofL Health is seeking a dynamic Registered Dietitian to provide nutrition services as part of the Sports Medicine Institute. The service line integrates nutrition for both professional (LouCity and Racing Louisville) and high school athletic organizations. As part of the Nutrition Therapy team of dietitians, the successful candidate will have:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to serve as a nutrition resource for clients, staff, and community
- Excellent time management skills and ability to self-motivate in a high paced environment
- Commitment to professionalism, integrity, nutrition as a healing therapy, and ethical practice
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree (required)
- Master’s Degree in nutrition/dietetics, public health, or education (preferred)
- Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration, or eligible for registration and registered within 90 days of start (required)
- Licensure by the Kentucky Board of Licensure and Certification for Dietitians, or licensed at next available application period (required)
Experience:
- One year of experience as a Registered Dietitian in community and/or outpatient nutrition therapy (preferred if in an outpatient role)
Certification:
- Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD) (preferred)
