About the Job
ChristianaCare is hiring a part-time Registered Dietitian our hospital in Newark, DE.
As a Registered Dietitian, you would maintain/improve the nutritional status of patients by assessing nutritional risk, evaluating nutritional requirements, developing care plans, providing nutrition education, and evaluating patient nutritional outcomes.
This position covers various floors including med/surg, ICU, stepdown, and more.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in food and nutrition required. Master’s degree in food and nutrition preferred.
- Experience as a clinical dietitian in an acute care facility preferred.
- Knowledge of supplemental nutritional products.
Special Requirements:
- Registration status as a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. ASPEN Certification as a Nutrition Support Dietitian within three years of hire (one time).
- Licensure with the State of Delaware is required at time of hire.
