Registered Medical Assistant (FM) - Medical Associates of NWA

MANA Family Medicine SW Bentonville is looking to hire a new member of the family to join Dr. Henson and his wonderful staff. Dr. Henson opened this clinic 3 years ago and since has grown a successful practice. At this time, we are needing a full time RMA with phlebotomy cerification to assist him Monday thru Friday with patients.

The RMA is responsible for providing direct or indirect care to patients who present with urgent, emergent, or potential health problems; utilizes knowledge of basic Medical Assistant principals, practices and ethics; participates in the organization and management of the physician's practice.

• Assist physician in setting up for procedures and exams, revising daily schedules; obtaining charts and charge tickets, locating lab tests and X-ray reports
• Ensure that patient chart/EMR entries are made accurately and in a timely manner
• Contact pharmacy to order new and refill prescriptions; notify patient; document appropriately
• Notify hospital or personnel of physician's orders
• Triage patients to ensure productive departmental flow

• High school diploma or GED
• 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training
• RMA certification
• Phlebotomy Certification
