Registered Nurse - 7 Memorial Med/Surg - Crouse Hospital

7 Memorial is a 19 bed Medical Surgical unit. Common procedures performed on 7 Memorial are wound/dressing changes, skin integrity maintenance, PICC line care, tracheostomy care, colostomy care, chest tube care, wound vac care and patient/family education.

A Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for the planning, implementing and evaluation of care for a given patient population with the established standards and practices of Crouse Hospital. This process is enacted through direct clinical practice, management of patient care and general professional duties.

Education/Experience Requirements

Required:

• Graduate of an accredited associate degree

*A Graduate Nurse (GN) must complete NCLEX within 120 days of employment.

Preferred:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing from accredited nursing program or higher degree

*Bachelor’s degree required within 8 years of being hired or those licensed after 2017.

Licensure/Certification Requirements

Required:

• Current New York State licensure as a Registered Nurse
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Preferred:

• Certification in a specialty area.

Salary Range

$33.00 - $46.02/hr
