Primary Care Nurse Practitioner - Norman Regional has an excellent opportunity to serve as a provider within our Primary Care Norman Regional Nine Clinic. Responsibilities:- The Nurse Practitioner provides medical management of patients (assessment, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment) for patients with physician supervision.
- Evaluates patient and obtains pertinent information for the diagnosis and treatment of the medical problem.
- Orders further testing and refers to other medical providers as necessary for the appropriate medical management of the patient.
- Documents appropriately in the EMR and completes all necessary forms and correspondence for proper patient care in a timely manner.
- Fosters the development of staff to fulfill the current and future requirements of individuals and the organization.
- Provides a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Actively supports and promotes the shared mission of Norman Regional Health System to achieve strategic goals

Education
- Nurse Practitioner Degree
Experience
- 1-2 years of experience preferred
- Related Primary Care experience preferred
(Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience)
Licensure/Certification
- Nurse Practitioner licensed by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing with Family Medicine certification
- Must meet credentialing requirements of Norman Regional
- eClinical Works medical heath record experience a plus but not required
