Requirements for this Registered Nurse job
To thrive as a Registered Nurse at Comfort Home Care, you'll need a diverse set of skills that empower you to provide exceptional home care for our elderly and mental health patients. A keen ability to conduct thorough initial and ongoing assessments is essential for identifying each client's medical needs, level of functioning, and ability to communicate and learn. Your expertise will shine as you initiate and revise personalized care plans and perform OASIS assessments at the right times. Strong communication and collaboration skills are a must, allowing you to coordinate services effectively while informing physicians and team members of any changes in your clients' conditions. Additionally, you'll need to demonstrate proficiency in nursing interventions and keep meticulous clinical and progress notes, ensuring all paperwork is submitted on time according to agency policies.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- * RN provides initial and ongoing assessments to identify the client's medical needs
- level of functioning and ability to communicate and learn.
- * RN initiates the plan of care

- and performs OASIS assessments at appropriate time points when applicable.
- * RN Initiates and performs appropriate nursing interventions.
- * RN coordinates services
- informs the physician and other personnel of changes in the client's condition and needs.
- * RN collaborates with patient /family and other health care providers and/or community resources with planning of care and discharge.
- * RN prepares clinical and progress notes and submits all required paperwork in a timely manner according to agency policy and procedure.
