Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse for our facility to ensure we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. What You Will Do In Your Role:

* You will perform therapeutic measures prescribed and delegated by the physician.

* You will participate in patient education and rehabilitation and provide interpretation of treatment to the patient and the patient’s family.

* You will coordinate unit activities and assure accountability of all assigned tasks.

What qualifications you will need:

* Graduated from an accredited school of nursing with an Associates or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.

* Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date).

* Experience is psychiatric nursing is preferred.

* Current BLS from the American Heart Association is required.

* Current CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) is required within 60 days of hire.

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).

Corpus Christi Medical Center is a 630+ bed healthcare system of hospitals in Corpus Christi and the surrounding Coastal Bend community. Bay Area is our full-service acute care hospital and offers state-of-the-art cardiovascular services, bariatric, GYN and robotic surgery.
