Job Summary and Qualifications

Assist in cardiac catheterization, as well as vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures. Perform emergency procedures associated with catheterization procedure – IAB and temporary pacer insertion. Follow established standards and practices under the direction of a credentialed invasive cardiologist, or credentialed invasive radiologist. Will float to Specials in Radiology or other areas as needed. CV CQI

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree
• Current Texas RN License or RN Compact License acceptable under eNLC guidelines
• Knowlegdge of state, federal, JCAHO regulations
• Knowledge of specialty equipment tools and other Cinefluorography
• 1 year of previous cath lab experience or critical care experience required
