Location: College Station, TX
Shift: 10-Hour Days, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 4 shifts per week (40 hours)
Salary Range: $34.00 - $55.00 per hour
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The Cath Lab RN will coordinate and provide high-quality patient care using the nursing process in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will assess patients, identify care needs, develop personalized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes. Your role involves working closely with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety, comfort, and successful outcomes throughout the catheterization procedure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to identify and prioritize patient needs.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and families, maintaining appropriate boundaries and managing physical and emotional pain.
- Incorporate patient and family cultural, spiritual, and social diversity into the care process.
- Serve as an advocate for patients and families, ensuring confidentiality and promoting dignity and respect.
- Facilitate patient and family education, integrating learning throughout the continuum of care.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to implement and monitor care plans, delegating tasks appropriately.
- Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to manage resources efficiently and ensure quality care.
- Maintain professionalism through active participation in decision-making, ongoing education, and continuous professional development.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in nursing, with Cath Lab experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
