Registered Nurse - Certified Surgical Technologist - Next Move Healthcare

Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Certified Surgical Technologist

Schedule: Must be flexible with hours. This is a Full-Time, direct-hire position. No nights, weekends, major holidays, or on-call.

Reports to: Director of Nurses (DON)

EMR: HST

# of Operating Rooms: 4

# of Surgeries Per Month: 250

Facility Schedule: Days, M-F, 40-hours/week

Education/Licensure/Certification Requirements

Required:

• GED or High School Diploma
• NBSTSA-Certified Surgical Tech or other equivalent certification
• BLS required
• At least one year of experience

Preferred:

• ORTHO Experience
• Two years of experience preferred

Main Function:

The Surgical Scrub Tech or the Certified Surgical Tech is a member of the surgical team who works with surgeons, anesthesia personnel, RNs, and other surgical personnel in delivering patient care and assuming appropriate responsibilities before, during, and after surgical procedures.
