Registered Nurse: Clinical Documentation Reviewer
The Clinical Documentation Clinical Reviewer will collaborate with CDI Specialists, Coders, and Providers to provide secondary case review and ensure accurate and thorough clinical documentation. The Clinical Documentation Clinical Review RN will direclty enhance patient outcomes by improving Case Mix Index (CMI) and Geometric Mean Length of Stay (GMLS).

Registered Nurse: Clinical Documentation Reviewer
The Clinical Documentation Clinical Reviewer will collaborate with CDI Specialists, Coders, and Providers to provide secondary case review and ensure accurate and thorough clinical documentation. The Clinical Documentation Clinical Review RN will direclty enhance patient outcomes by improving Case Mix Index (CMI) and Geometric Mean Length of Stay (GMLS).
Qualifications:
- BSN Degree Required
- Must have 3 or more years RN experience in a hospital setting
- Extensive clinical knowledge and understanding of the disease processes, pathophysiology, and disease management/treatment
- Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS) - OR - Certified Documentation Improvement Practitioner (CDIP) required
- Coding Certification (CCS, CIC, CPC) preferred
- Experience with ICD-10-CM/PCS, APR DRG, and MS DRG required
- Strong critical thinking & attention to detail
- Active TX RN license or ability to gain state licensure
