Registered Nurse Float Pool - Critical Care Unit

Location: Tallahassee, FL

Shift: Full-Time Nights

Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Critical Care Unit Float Pool at our partner hospital in Tallahassee, FL. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced critical care nurse to showcase their versatility and provide exceptional care across various intensive care settings.

Job Responsibilities:

• Patient Advocate: You will serve as a dedicated advocate for patients and their families, prioritizing their privacy, confidentiality, and overall well-being.
• Clinical Assessment & Diagnosis: Utilize your critical care expertise to conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, accurately diagnose patient conditions, and develop effective care plans.
• Evidence-Based Care: Deliver patient care based on established plans, demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement and evidence-based practice.

Job Qualifications:

• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of recent (within the last year or two) acute care Critical Care RN experience is required.
• Licensure: Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or be able to obtain licensure before starting.
• Certifications:
  • BLS certification is required.
  • ACLS certification is preferred but required within 6 months of hire.
• Education: A minimum education of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Sign-On Bonus: $25,000 (Nights Only)
• Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case basis
• Shift Differentials: $3 for night shifts and $2 for weekends
