✨ Acts as the information resource for Medicare PPS and the MDS per state and federal guidelines.
✨ Educates on accurate completion of the MDS; Trains all new staff that complete MDS's.
✨ Completes MDS accurately per RAI manual.
✨ Responsible for Federal required submissions transmitted to the IQIES ASAP National Database.
✨ Works along side billing to ensure compliance.

🌟 Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess:

âœ”ï¸ MDS Certification

âœ”ï¸ A current NY State RN license.
âœ”ï¸ A BSN or bachelor's preferred.

âœ”ï¸ Experience in the long-term care setting.
âœ”ï¸ Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
âœ”ï¸ Strong understanding of nursing home regulations and reporting.

âœ”ï¸ Ability to serve on committees and assume responsibility for special projects as assigned.

You will report to the Director of Nursing of the Residential Healthcare Facility located at the hospital.
