Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assessing patient conditions.
- Care Coordination: Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on managing their conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Emergency Response: Quickly assess and respond to emergencies, providing life-saving interventions as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Experience: Previous experience in Med-Surgical or Emergency Care settings preferred.
- Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN).
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
