$56.00 an hour

Program runs from August 25, 2024 to April 5, 2025

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

· All seasonal RNs are required to work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period during the seasonal period.

· Within a close geography, you may be asked to float to another facility that has an emergent staffing need.

· Four (4) weekend shifts are required each 4 week schedule period.

· During the course of the 32-week period, the employee is required to work two (2) holiday shifts (defined by Department Manager or designee).

· Seasonal Staff are PRN status employees and are subject to first call-off. There are no guaranteed hours by the hospital.

· Seasonal Staff will not be eligible for benefits, except 401(k) and retirement contribution per the PRN policy.

· Seasonal Staff will not be eligible for extra shift bonuses (D1/CND, D2/ECD, and D3/EVD)

· Registered Nurses who are in the Seasonal program will have one opportunity to pass the clinical competency evaluation.

· Current FT/PT & PRN Level 3 employees are not eligible to join the Seasonal program for 2023-2024 with the exception of RNs that participated in the Seasonal program in the previous year.

· Current employees of HWS are not eligible for the seasonal program.

· Shifts may vary based on the needs of the department.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The RN in our NICU unit  will Delivers professional nursing care to all patients in NICU. Performs assessment and acuity assignment; follows standard of care utilizing Nursing Process in delivery of care; maintains accountability for professional decisions and actions. The daily assignment of an RN may include supervision of other nursing personnel and/or students. Function as a preceptor and ability to function as a charge nurse. The employee performs all services as they may relate to patient care/treatment with consideration for age/condition of patient

• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Registered Nurse
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree
• 2 Years NICU experience Required
