Position Qualifications: 

1.Education: 

A.Graduate of a school of professional nursing. 

 

2.Experience: 

A.Minimum one yearprevious OR experience preferred. 

 

3.Specific Requirements: 

A.CurrentLicensure as a Registered Nurse.Texas State RN license or compact license is accepted; Texas State RN license required 30 days after hire. 

B.Certified in CPR from AHA or ARC 

C.Possess the ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities. 

D.Possess the ability to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians, and employees. 

E.Knowledgeable of hospital policies and procedures specific to operating room nursing. 

F.Clinically proficient in operating room nursing skills, demonstrating knowledge of the development needs of the pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient. 

Medical City North Hills is a 165+ bed hospital located in the heart of northeast Tarrant County. Our campus has a women's imaging center and geriatric behavioral unit.
