Registered Nurse - PACU - WorkFit Medical

WorkFit Medical Staffing, PLLC has partnered up with medical facility in Ithaca, NY to provide a contracted 13-week Registered Nurse for the day shift in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit. Come join a winning team with HIGH pay rates and a great work/life balance! 

Pay range $50 - $54 hourly 

Qualifications:

• Must be a NYS licensed Registered Nurse in good standing 

• Current physical, up-to-date immunizations: MMR & PPD; pass federal background check; pass drug screening; positive references; and MUST HAVE 2 yrs. experience in Endoscopy

• Must keep a positive attitude with co-workers, patients, nursing staff and clients.

Job Duties of the Registered Nurse:

• Three 12 hour shifts or Four 10 hour shifts is preferred

• Experience with pediatric patients age 6mo and older- we have busy ENT days that consist of tonsils, tubes, and adenoids, other pediatric surgeries can include broken bones and appendectomy.

• We do local cases which may include-thoracentesis/paracentesis, minor ortho procedures - inpatient and outpatient procedures, also elective, add-on, urgent, and emergent cases 

• We do orthopedic, general, ENT, Neuro, Plastics, Urology, and GYN cases. It can vary from day to day on how many surgeries we recover, on our busiest days 35, low census days as low as 11 - you will NOT have to float to other surgery centers!
