We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our Emergency Department team in San Antonio. As an RN in our ER, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. This position offers both day and night shifts, working three 12-hour shifts per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the emergency department.
Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Provide education and support to patients and their families.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Respond promptly to emergency situations, using critical thinking and decision-making skills.
Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
Qualifications:
Current and valid RN license in the state of Texas.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in an emergency department or critical care setting preferred.
BLS and ACLS certification required; PALS certification preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a high-stress environment.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
