About the Job
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to oversee the medical needs of elderly and terminally ill patients. The ideal candidate will have completed sufficient education to perform their duties, including administering medications, performing wound care and conducting medical screenings. This is a highly demanding position in a high-pressure environment, and we are looking for an individual who will be able to work well with our team members and other medical professionals to provide quality care for our patients.
Responsibilities:
* Provide basic care for patients using the nursing process and established standards of practice.
* Demonstrate knowledge and skill in performing personal hygiene activities, range of motion exercises, and dressing changes.
* Assist with changing linens, turning patients, positioning patients.
* Participate in discharge planning., Assist with and monitor vital signs, intake and output, and intake of food and liquids by patients.
* Assist with administering medications to patients in hospice or facility.
* Demonstrate the ability to work independently on clinical decision making within scope of practice as well as within scope of knowledge., Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $36.00 - $40.00 per hour
