Position Type:Part time or Full-time, 20-40 hours per week, Minimal on call may be available if interested. Nights and Weekend differentials are available. Health and Welfare is available for W2 employees.

Summary:
Vighter is currently seeking multiple candidates for Registered Nurse positions (many specialties are welcome) for positions supporting the important Department of Homeland Security-Immigration and Customs Enforcement (DHS-ICE) mission in Eloy, AZ. The Registered Nurse (RN) provides exceptional patient care and maintains the delivery of quality care by assuring the nursing care plan is followed.

The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants. Includes, but not limited to:

Position Description:

• Performs a nursing assessment on all patients within 8 hours of admission. The data collected forms the basis of an individualized plan of care. Identifies teaching needs and goals related to the diagnosis of each patient from the nursing admission assessment and by collaborating with the patient/family and the Interdisciplinary team.
• Provides patient information and status in a timely manner for the Initial Team Conference and for Re-evaluation Team Conferences on a weekly basis. Responsible and accountable for accurate, succinct and timely documentation of all assessments, interventions and patient’s response in the medical record in accordance with policy.
• Coordinate patient care in collaboration with a wide array of healthcare professionals. Facilitate the achievement of optimal outcomes in relation to clinical care, quality andcost effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with standards of care and practice in accordance with all establishedpolicies, procedures, and guidelines used in the MTF.
• Perform physical exam and health histories.
• Provide health promotions, counseling, and education.
• Administer medications, wound care, and numerous other personalized interventions.
• Direct and supervise care provide by other healthcare professionals.
• Accountable for making patient care assignments based on the scope of practice and skilllevel of assigned personnel.
• Recognize adverse signs and symptoms and quickly react in emergency situations.
• Communicate and collaborate with a diverse group of people for the purpose ofinforming the healthcare team of plans/actions, for teaching/education to benefit the
• patient/family and organization.
• Make referral appointments and arrange specialty care as appropriate.
• Perform nursing services identified in the TO.
• Conduct research in support of improved practice and patient outcomes.
• Prioritizes activities and plans for effective use of time and staff in meeting patient needs.
• Performs other duties as requested.

Qualifications:

• Degree: Associates Degree of Nursing.
• Education: Graduate from a college or university accredited by Accreditation Commission for Education in
• Nursing (ACEN), the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
• Experience: One year of experience as a registered nurse.
• Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
