For a limited time MaineHealth is offering a $10,000 Sign on bonus for all eligible Registered Nurses with up to 2 years of RN experience and $20,000 for Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of RN work experience!

MaineHealth Gastroenterology - Biddeford is looking for an experienced RN to work with our growing department to provide pre-procedural care to our patient before their scheduled procedures. This will be remote work after training.
As a PREP RN for our Gastroenterology team, you will be working in a remote position. Your day to day will include telephone interviewing patients to obtain their medical history and ensure they can proceed safely with their procedures. Responsibilities are independent assessment, planning and implementation and evaluation of patient care. You will work closely with our MA scheduling team to ensure documentation regarding all pre-op visits, anti-coagulation and clearances are met. You will be part of the team who helps our patients understand how to prepare for their procedures. Once fully trained this position will be fully remote.
This is a full-time; 40 hour per week position with the opportunity for flexibility in the schedule (4 or 5 days). This ideal RN candidate would have experience working in GI, endoscopy, peri-op, PACU or a surgical floor, and live within an hoursradius of Biddeford, ME.
- Position Summary
- The Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Care role provides high quality care to patients and families calling or presenting for care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, and performs a wide variety of patient care services to assist physicians/advanced practice practitioners in delivering excellent care to patients of the practice.
- Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
- License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
- Experience: One year of RN experience preferred.
