- Schedule: Part-time (with benefits), This is a .75 FTE (30 hours)
This schedule will alternate between two shifts one week and three the next
Every 3rd weekend required, some holidays required
This is a day shift position, 7A-7P. - Department: Labor, Delivery, Recovery & Postpartum unit (LDRP)- RN's on this unit do both L&D and Mother/Baby
Candidates must have at least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery experience for this PRN position - Location: Kernersville Medical Center, Kernersville NC
- Unit Info: This unit opened in March of 2024, it's a low risk, 12 bed LDRP unit
Patients labor, deliver & recover in the same room
This team consists of RN's, Surg Techs, Lactation Consultants, and a dedicated OB Anesthesiologist as well as a 24/7 neonatal NP and respiratory

Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED, required
4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license
In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
- Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
- Licensure/Certification:
- Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required
- ENPC, TNCC or CEN; preferred.
- NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire, required.
- Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required
