About the Role:

Department Overview

Medical Intermediate Care (IMC) is a 20-bed unit with all private rooms. As a medical IMC unit, care is provided for a variety of intermediate care medical patients including but not limited to:

• Patients requiring more frequent monitoring than every 4 hours.
• Patients requiring more frequent monitoring, which may include advanced respiratory support such as BiPap, HiFlo Oxygen, Vapotherm, and trached patients requiring chronic ventilator support.
• Endocrine Emergencies requiring more frequent monitoring. DKA
• Gastroenterology requiring more frequent monitoring.
• Alcohol withdrawal with CIWA score < 26

• Licensure or other certifications: Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia.  

• Educational Requirements: Associate's Degree, ADN or Diploma required

• Minimum Experience: At least 1 year of RN experience – Demonstrated competence in RN I performance expectations or meets experience requirements upon hire
