Registered Nurse (RN) Oncology Services Program Coordinator - Ascension

We Are Hiring:

• Department: Oncology Support Services
• Schedule:  Day Shift; 40 hours scheduled weekly.  No weekends, no holidays.  Day shift (with flexibility).
• Hospital:  Ascension St. Vincent Hospital
• Location:  Indianapolis, IN

This position will manage projects in the oncology setting...including accreditation work, quality, safety and best practice initiatives. This is a quality driven position that will be reading standards for care and leading change in the department to shift policies and procedures to conform to the requirements for accreditation.

 

What You Will Do:

Coordinate and/or lead assigned program(s).

Responsibilities:

• Monitor program plans, schedule and budgets. Recommend alternative actions based on tracking outcomes.
• Coordinate, organize and support program promotions to targeted audience.
• Document and track program progress compared to goals.
• Coordinate and prepare reports, materials and presentations to support program leaders.
• Coordinate and/or lead program tasks as assigned.

What You Will Need:

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Additional Preferences:

Bachelor's degree; RN or equivalent business degree. Oncology experience preferred. Project Management experience.
