A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A REGISTERED NURSE (RN)
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you conduct comprehensive patient assessments and plan for the management of patient outcomes across the continuum of care. Within a specified time period, you provide skilled interventions aimed at achieving realistic outcomes and modify the plan of care when necessary.
You consistently demonstrate competency with technical nursing skills and enjoy giving care to individuals with various individual, cultural, and spiritual backgrounds. When it comes to personal and private information, you are always tactful and discreet. You are able to effectively communicate with patients and family members regarding the patient's condition. You love making a positive impact on the lives of our patients and their families.
You coordinate delivery of care along the healthcare continuum using the resources of Right at Home and the community. Using your professional nursing judgment, you delegate selected nursing tasks when determined safe and appropriate. One office day per week, you attend to administrative tasks pertaining to the position as well as conducting new caregiver orientation.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A REGISTERED NURSE (RN)
- Current New Jersey RN license
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing within the past five years or completion of an accredited refresher course within the past two years
- At least one year of clinical experience
- Current CPR certification
- Driver's license and access to an insured vehicle or adequate transportation

Individuals with a BSN will have the opportunity to teach home health aide classes on an ongoing basis. WORK SCHEDULE
The typical work schedule for this position is during regular business hours. There may be some weekend and evening assessments.
