Avera is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) – Quality Specialist to join our Team!

Job Summary

The primary responsibility of the Quality Specialist is to guide the quality improvement activities for Avera.  This includes: using appropriate quality tools and performance improvement (PI) methodologies, evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of operations through data management, analysis and  PI activities, serve as a resource for quality processes by leading, teaching, and guiding various quality improvement activities, assist in managing quality data, data submission, data analysis, and preparing/presenting quality outcomes.

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• 3-5 years of healthcare experience preferred.
• Must have adept knowledge with computer software, including Microsoft Office.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure required.

Work Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm; 80hrs/2wks

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $29.50 - $44.25 per hour
