Key responsibilities
Assessing patients' conditions and recording their medical histories
Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
Monitoring and recording patients' vital signs and symptoms
Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
Providing emotional support and guidance to patients and their families
Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations
Educating patients and their families about their conditions and treatment plans
Assisting with diagnostic tests and analyzing results
Documenting all patient care services provided
Responding to medical emergencies and providing immediate care
Participating in continuous education and training to maintain licensure and stay updated on best practices
Conducting patient discharge planning and follow-up care
Supervising and coordinating the work of licensed practical nurses and nursing assistants
Contributing to quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice
Required qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
CPR certification
Proven clinical experience in a healthcare setting
Advanced knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and patient assessment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient care tasks efficiently
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and medical documentation
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Commitment to providing compassionate and ethical patient care
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
Adherence to professional standards, ethical codes, and legal regulations
Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Continuous commitment to ongoing education and professional development
