Status: Full-Time
Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (Rotating weekends and holidays)
Pay: Competitive with a $3.50 shift differential
Sign-on Bonus: $9,000

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist (or CRT) to join our team and deliver exceptional, state-of-the-art respiratory care. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work in the Emergency Department (ED) and outpatient areas, collaborating with physicians, staff, and directors to develop and implement patient-centered care plans.

Key Responsibilities:
- Administer prescribed respiratory therapy treatments and procedures.
- Evaluate patients' respiratory status and create individualized care plans.
- Perform diagnostic tests, including arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary function tests.
- Monitor and adjust ventilator settings for mechanically ventilated patients.
- Educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques and equipment usage.
- Maintain and calibrate respiratory therapy equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Respond to emergencies with advanced respiratory support and life-saving measures.
- Document treatments, patient responses, and progress in medical records.
- Adhere to safety and infection control standards, ensuring a safe environment for all.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Six months of Staff Therapist experience is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Education: Graduate of an AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy program at the Registry level.
- Licenses & Certifications: MA Respiratory Therapist License (MARTL), NBRC-RRT (National Board Respiratory Care RRT), CPR certification.
- Skills: Exceptional interpersonal communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities. Flexibility to adjust shift hours and days as needed.
