Duties:
- Conducting, performing, and analyzing diagnostic and function tests to assess lung capacity and capability.
- Working with physicians and nurses to create treatment plans.
- Treating patients with aerosol medications and chest physiotherapy.
- Evaluating progress of treatment
- 2 years experience Adult and Peds general care
- Adult and Peds critical care
- Emergency Trauma Neonatal
- Registration as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT issued by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Valid license to practice as Respiratory Therapist issued by NYSED
- AHA BLS
- Primary Source Verification required
- AHA ACLS
- AHA PALS
- NRP for Intensive Care Nursery
- Registered Pulmonary Function Tech certificate (RFPT) preferred.
- Proof of full vaccination required
- Staff is required for EVERY OTHER WEEKEND coverage in their schedule.
