Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Status: Full-Time
Location: Burlington, VT
Shift: 7a-7p or 7p-7a, rotating weekends and holidays
Salary: Salary to be discussed with a Bryant Staffing Solutions Recruiter
Sign-on Bonus: $5-$10K, dependent on experience
Relocation: Partial assistance is available

Summary:
This position provides professional respiratory care to patients in varying states of health and illness by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care plan. The Level I Therapist provides and oversees patient care for adult ICU populations and all patients requiring respiratory care in the general units, including adult, pediatric, and cystic fibrosis patients. The therapist must be able to respond quickly to any emergent situation and endure repetitive physical movement. This position requires the ability to remain standing for most of the shift and serve patients in various areas. The therapist may be expected to take Charge and work in the ED upon completing Charge and ED proficiencies. The therapist must maintain proficiencies as defined by department expectations in adult ICUs and all general units. New hires must complete proficiencies within one year of the hire date.

Qualifications:
- Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state of Vermont (before start date)
- Graduate of an AMA-approved program for Respiratory Care
- Registered Respiratory Therapist by the NBRC within one year of hire
- Current ACLS, BLS & PALS
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
