Overlook Medical Center is seeking a Registered Vascular Sonographer to perform diagnostic quality vascular studies. The candidate should possess sonographic skills in testing upper and lower extremity venous, extracranial carotid arteries, physiologic testing (PVR), bypass grafts, dialysis, and abdominal scanning.
This is a per diem position covering OMC and offsite vascular lab at the Union campus.
Essential Function/Responsibilities:
- Performance of vascular scans in accordance with established department protocols based on IAC vascular standards and in compliance with Atlantic Health System (AHS) policies and procedures.
- Complete clerical tasks associated with vascular exams, including completing and recording all testing information accurately and in a timely manner.
- Knowledge of DICOM workflow inclusive of work list, imaging, exporting, and preliminary reporting.
- Perform various vascular tests including venous and arterial duplex, PVR/ABI, carotid, temporal artery, AAA duplex, renal duplex, SMA duplex and portal duplex with elastography.
- Experience in Epic and Change Health software preferred.
