Position Summary
Concordia University is seeking applicants for the full-time position of Registrar Specialist: Graduation Analyst. This position works with student academic records, maintaining the university course sharing platform, support student registration and room assignments. Working with students, staff, and faculty, this position contributes to an effective and efficient office that emphasizes superior customer service. This 12-month, full-time, exempt position is located on the Mequon, Wisconsin campus reports to the Concordia University Registrar.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Evaluates all Graduate students records for final degree posting
- Process all diplomas including reprint diplomas
- Processes Graduate program transfer credits
- Orders office supplies
- Responsible for processing Grade Changes
- Updates Name & Address Changes
- Assists with graduation commencement bulletin
- Answer phones, respond to emails and assist walk-ins with registration needs, forms, schedule questions, etc.
- May perform other related duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Familiarity with student information databases, particularly Ellucian Banner and EMS
- Proficient with Microsoft Office including Access, Excel, Word and Outlook
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work with numbers and forms, including data entry
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to deal with interruptions and work in a fast-paced office environment
- Excellent communication skills written and oral
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Be available for evening and weekend work as needed with some travel required
- Supportive of the mission and values of Concordia University Wisconsin/Ann Arbor and the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS)
Physical Demands/Equipment
Education & Experience
A bachelor's degree is required, with at least two years of experience in higher education preferred.
