As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our US based Captive business group within Aon’s Commercial Risk Solutions team.
Your impact as a Regulatory Compliance Administrator
Our Company is an Insurance Services Provider, and we are seeking a conscientious, detailed-oriented person that will be responsible for preparing Premium Tax Reports and various Regulatory filings for our clients in all 51 U.S. jurisdictions. The role involves monitoring regulatory changes, ensuring adherence to the state insurance laws, assisting in the implementation of Regulatory Compliance Systems and working closely with regulators and internal teams. Within a team environment, the Regulatory Compliance Specialist will also be responsible for assisting with the applications for Insurance Registrations. Additionally, the Regulatory Compliance Administrator will work closely with the financial reporting team. If you have prior experience working in business compliance or in the insurance or legal sector, we need you on our team. Your goal will be to deliver consistent, accurate filings for our clients so that our Company can fulfill its business ethos of “Client First”.
This is a full-time position with potential overtime during peak regulatory periods. It is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually or from one of our offices located in Burlington, VT or Charleston, SC.
About the Role
- Prepare and submit premium tax reports and required regulatory filings for multiple clients.
- Monitor deadlines for all regulatory submissions and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Stay informed of changes in the state insurance regulations to ensure client compliance.
- Work with different internal departments and teams to integrate regulatory compliance into the client service experience.
- Assist in the maintenance of regulatory compliance systems, platforms and standards.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies during state registration process, examinations and inquiries to the regulatory filings.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all regulatory filings and state communications.
- Willingness and ability to continually learn and grow with the role.
- Proactively review your own work processes and practices to identify weaknesses or deficiencies and report any areas of concern or means of improvement to the Compliance Manager.

- Preferred familiarity administrative procedures and protocols of state agencies and insurance.
- Computer literacy – MS Office software skills and computer databases.
- Proficiency in English
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of industry experience is preferred.
- Experience in regulatory compliance software such as Premium Pro or Wings is desirable.

Pay Transparency Laws:
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $45,000 to $55,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
