Position Requirements:
Candidates admitted to the Connecticut Bar are preferred; however, all candidates admitted to practice in another state and in good standing will be considered. As a condition of employment, admission to the Connecticut Bar will be required within one year. Background handling administrative appeals from agency decisions is a plus. The successful candidate must be self-motivated and be able to assume independent responsibility for litigation and advice for complex regulatory and other legal matters, working closely with in-house legal resources, company management and, in certain limited cases, outside counsel. Being a good team player, well-organized, and able to identify business-oriented solutions to legal problems are important qualities to ensure success. The candidate must also demonstrate excellent written and oral communications skills and legal research abilities.
Compensation:
Title and compensation will be commensurate with the individual’s demonstrated ability and level of experience.
Education:
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree and Juris Doctor degree.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing attorney in a law firm, government and/or corporate law department.
Licenses & Certifications:

Eversource Energy offers a competitive total rewards program. The annual salary range for this position is $135,000-$160,000/year, plus incentive. Salary is commensurate with your experience. Please check our career site for an overview of our benefits.
