Summary
Job Summary
This system analyst must have a basic understanding of EMR/EHR systems, particularly Cerner, and fundamental medical terminology. The role requires the ability to use existing report tools to generate reports. A strong understanding of regulatory and quality measures, as well as terminology, including eCQMs, MIPS, CMS, CEHRT, PI, ICD-9, and ICD-10 is essential.
The Systems Analyst will be expected to perform the following duties:
- Responsible for understanding the current and future regulatory, quality measures and accreditation requirements for hospital and providers across the LifeBridge Health system.
- Translate regulatory requirements into system requirements based on clinical workflow processes and desired reporting outcomes. Analyze, design, build, test and modify system and program requirements as they relate to relevant mandates. The main system of focus is Cerner; however, the analyst will be the subject-matter expert in consultation for additional software solutions and processes as required.
- Troubleshoots system problems and resolves issues related to support uptime and availability of systems.
- Experience: 3-5 years Education Discipline: BS in Healthcare Administration, Regulatory Compliance, Computer Science, Engineering or other relevant study
- Cerner experience is required
